What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

John Fogerty - Glastonbury - wonderful guy, great guitarist, powerful voice, tremendous songs (most of which he wrote) and still one of the best performers on the planet.

In case there's any doubt - I liked it a lot.

It's not too bad even if it is not his brilliant best - Eye of the Zombie by J.C.Fogerty - but if your buy any of John's albums then buy all the others before you consider this.

Edit: (found it...)

Scandal !

Can't find web site with the cover picture of this great recording. OK, it's old, and it's not really "popular music", but great stuff, indeed.

Oh well, will have to enjoy it without visual support, then.

Cyrene, you might like / have this one...

Haven't heard it Stefan. Who's he playing with? Generally if it's on Blue Note it's gonna be pretty good!
