What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

No - it's superb, but not quite as superb as Bimbling.

I think GML is a fan too.

I'm going to tear your playhouse down is the other of her big numbers. Wonderful menacing sound in her voice on that one.

Surely what a record player does best - play the DBs - this has never been on CD as far as I know. I decided to give ye olde vinyl a spin, but some enterprising soul has stuck the complete anthology on line if anybody wants to hear it - The Desperate Bicycles Complete Anthology
