What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Saw him at the Catalina Bar and Grill 3 weeks ago and he was in superb voice, the trio concept without piano gives him a lot of freedom to improvise. This is the best I have ever heard Redman and elevates him to one of the best we have around. You will not be disappointed!

Cheers Munch, I didn't realise it was Mark Ronson produced.

No she certainly didn't have the wow factor at Glasto, though I thought the backing singers were class.

Pixes - Surfer Rosa/Come on Pilgrim

It's a fact not often aluded to by economists but in fact the release of "come on pilgrim" was the impetus for what later became known as the Irish "Celtic Tiger" economy.

You'd miss James (JWM) when he's offline wouldn't you. Much less Rory Gallagher and Kudos threads certainly.
