What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Something for the softer-late light outside.

This was the first LP I ever bought, back in 1974. It has been played to death over the intervening 33 years and is showing its age. Yesterday I snapped up a bargain offer on the 30th Anniversary re-release from EMI. Bloody Nora it is great! Either my original copy was really shagged or the re-release is a huge improvement.

GOt most of the recorded albums and for all that they are good, they aren't outstanding. Then you hear the live and it all makes sense.....a fabulous live band.
