What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

There is a Volume // of Castel Del Monte which isn't any worse than the original.
I like Godard's playing with RAK on Morton's Foot (saw him life, in that combination, and liked it, too)
ImpertinAnce (on CamJazz) is OK
So is Cousins Germains
Interesting (even if a bit on the "audiophile" side) is "Souse Les Voutes, Le Serpent", where he plays the Serpent (and not the Tuba)
Keep in mind that it's still a Tuba (or Serpent), so it's all about the other players...

Hi Munch,
I'm just back from holidays so after 2 weeks slumming it with Ipod and BOSE it's sounding wonderful.

Stefan,
Somehow I made a mistake and posted the wrong disc (which I do not have).
I was listening to William Byrd performed on the clavecin by Bertrand Cuiller on Alpha.
This one is an excellent disc.
