What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Jeff yep it is a grower. Taking into account your taste as shown in the Music Forum have you ever listened to James Low- Mexiquia cd, think you might like it?

Today I had my baptism with Marylin Manson! I did find it a bit unremitting! And so apparently did the boss, who came in muttering something which did not seem likely to have been complimentary, and turned the volume right down! What genre is the music of Mr Manson in?

I did not have any complaints as I am pretty gentle about these things, but I did have a small plan to by some ear muffs!

I think the genre is called Rubbish, IMHO of course Big Grin To me he's all about image - I think the music is secondary. I'm sure somebody will come in to defend him.

Meanwhile I'm listening to

Better than Mr Manson, but that's just my opinion.

A returner from a batch of CD's I had given to a friend. Sometimes "old" CD's sound like new to me.
