What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

That was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but as I have gotten older and health has become compromised,
it is now what gives/allows me most pleasure.
Portland does get a fair amount of rain, but not as much as reputed - now at the Pacific coast 75 miles to the west, they get RAIN (nearly double what Portland gets), mostly October to April. We get a lot of grey overcast during the winter and the storms have gotten larger over the 28 years I have lived here - not as much Oregon mist as we got in the past. But it is usually green, and I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. Spent my first 27 years near Cleveland Ohio and hate the midwest weather.
best,
Jeff A
