What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

I have been listening to some Paul Weller this evening. It must be the influence of all the forum posts originating from the UK. Haven't seen him live since the Jam days. Ouch. Now I feel old.

Thanks Matt.
I will try to get one of her better albums. My wife really likes her.

A little morning melancholy ...

With some proper sound engineering this could have sounded really great. Let down a bit by a couple of slightly embarrassing tracks. But it's easy to trace how the songs will be tranformed into blistering live pieces, which is where KS really excel. (Of all the 'big' bands I've seen, I still put the KS gig at Cambridge Corn Exchange March '99 in the top 5 - Hawkwind's Dave Brock standing next to us was getting into it too!)
