What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Although I have quite a lot of Stanley Turrentine discs, for those of you who are tempted to dip your toes in the water you could do a lot worse than get yourself a copy of this.

First up this morning Adrian Boult conducting Enigma Variations and Planet Suite, then Kate Rusby's new album "Awkward Annie", which is lovely.

Fabulous stuff. We were indeed lucky to hear him in our time. I'm sure he will be regarded as the best since Caruso.
