What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Two excellent new albums - Kate's is just what you'd expect: another fine set, whereas Rachel has pulled all the stops and released an inspired album. Kate's is prettier, but utimately Rachel's has more depth. Which one do I prefer? Both.

I am sure you get most of your albums because of the art work.
A lot of the music you play have very good front covers.

Fabulous stuff. We were indeed lucky to hear him in our time. I'm sure he will be regarded as the best since Caruso.

For sure Caruso and Pavarotti are and will be regarded as THE tenors of the 20th century Winker
I heard some famous person saying that there are the tenors and there is Pavarotti Big Grin
