What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

OK and yes it's been a good day off. Thrilled to bits with the LP replay at the moment. Must have something to do with finding some decent music on LP recently
May see you at the Haden/Mehldau.
Enjoy the concerts and I hope that Keith Jarrett produces some magic on the night
All the best
Mark

Purists will not approve of this.
It's a digitally recorded record.
Sounds great, tho.

Been awhile for me as well, a great album that too much radio airplay nearly ruined.
Thats what killed it for me. By the way Jeff does the US version have the hidden track before track 1 on the disc? You used to press skip backwards and the track used to play. It wasn't that greata track however the novelty of it was quite good.

Not sure ... we have two copies, one we imported the summer of '99 before hardly anybody knew of DG, and the other purchased at a Seattle show with 75 people in spring '00 (one of four DG shows I saw that year, recorded two) when my spouse got back stage and had it signed.
I will check for secret track ...
