What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Switch to Firefox.
Then simply right click on picture to bring up "copy picture location"
Then 'paste' it into the image location box (the mountain scene box). Lemon squeezy.

Earlier, about twenty Elvis Presley pop songs, and now about twenty Dolly Parton in similar but more sentimental vein! Love it, just love it!
Later I will probably revert to type! George

Sorry for the delay in responding, had emergency retinal detachment surgery on my right eye last night. If I had waited 48 hours I would have lost sight in that eye, though it ain't no fun right now.
Crane Wife - I like it alot. I will try and write more in a couple days.
best,
Jeff A

Early days for a proper review but right now ..some strong songs and very commercial in parts ....but ..the production ..jeez compressed ain't in it! ...or is it just me?

..Ok stop sniggering at the back! ...really .. these guys made some crackin' albums ..far superior to the mundane Sabbath / Purple et al' stuff of that period ..interesting lyrics from a "metal" band as well - whoever would have thunk it?
