What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Last Knopfler's album.
More folk than electric and more exotic than western.
Smoother than the other albums.
Guitar is melted in the music.
imho

Thanks, James,
Ended up having to skip the Jose Gonzales concert last night, but my spouse went to the venue and picked up the new disc. My copy sounds odd as well, though the songs seem pretty cool. Strange. Hope you are able to enjoy your show. check this out:

And after comparing a couple of cables (Cardas vs Ensemble) using it, Amy's version of Valerie is now firmly established as one of my favourite tracks of recent years
