What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

CPE's fortepiano, viola de gamba and cello make a perfect early morning music.
Painting is by Johann Christian Dahl titled:
"Morning, after a stormy night, 1819".
For a second I thought it was one of Adrian's Australian beach scenes...

One of my first Direct-to-Disc LPs from the late seventies. Exceptional playing as well as sound.
Earl "Fatha" Hines is at the piano, Red Callender plays the bass and tuba and bill Douglass the drums.
