What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

My old vinyl copy doesn't have the 5 additional tracks, but they are all from another H&TN album I have - so it's no big deal.

Great CD, isn't it ?

Saw Wollny live, last Friday, for the second time, now. I really believe he's one of the shiniest talents on the horizon of (German) Jazz players.

Confused

Bye

I'm a boring old fart, Jeff... What I meant to say is that I appreciate to see people that (a) post music which is non-mainstream (it may be for others, I know...) and (b) allow themselves to be influenced by posts, here.

This "what are you listening to right now" thread for me is the most precious of this forum, and about the only one I try to frequent. Have got many inspirations from here.

That's what I tried to express (language...)

cheers
Stefan

I know I posted this recently, but I think it's brilliant.

It would be nice to hear a few tracks on your system.

Hi, sorry no. The only Steve Miller I have is on Macca'a Flaming Pie (good album that).

Huw,

How is it? I listened to parts of it and was not convinced.

Marc Hamelin is really doing some playing on his Alkan disc!

Regards and have a goot trip to the motherland.
