What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Luxuriating in the orchestral works of Bantock, shut your eyes and wallow in all that is good about the British landscape

Hi George,
Funny you should ask. I have Tim's House in the car and intend to start listening next week. Clocktower Park is excellent. The opener, "It's Never Over" is superb and sets a high standard that is maintained pretty well. Maybe a couple of so-so tracks but on the whole, I like it a lot.

Mandy Moore "Wild Hope"
from amazon.com:
Cut to 2007: Moore has made a record that reflects the artist that--against some heavy odds--she's become. Wild Hope, co-written with the cred-conferring team of Rachael Yamagata, Lori McKenna, and the Weepies, should earn her a spot on adult-alternative radio alongside format regulars Dar Williams, Sarah McLachlan, and Jonatha Brooke.

Thanks for that Steve, sounds like I have to buy at least one this month.
Regards
