What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Ewen is more knowledgable PB/GB than I, but be aware she is Greg Brown's daughter, if you don't know his music, you might want to investigate GB.

Diccus I can heartily recommend her. I have all her discs including one that is only available through her web site.

Re Greg Brown start with Poet Game then Further In and that will give you an idea. Or you can just drop me another line. Got your email today thanks but can you drop me another with your home add so I can get your food parcel out to you.

ps: showing my age, but ND played my small college in Ohio in 1969, I believe Cherry Cherry was about his only hit at the time, just him and an acoustic, still remember it well.
