What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Mostly - Watt has seen better days - I think it was one of those records I once tried to play with a Decca London cartridge back in the 70s.

Anyway moved on to this, but not sure if anybody on the forum likes it

Jeff I am currently choosing which cd player to buy. Once I have bought it I will be taking a little picture for system pics and offering a brief explanation for my choices.

In the meantime all I will say is that I am thrilled with what I describe as my 'music, not hifi' equipment.

Annie Lennox "Songs Of Mass Destruction"

again, but first time through the Linaeum LFX-C, back in the system for a change. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.

Just had this on in the car

Note to self. If switching to this from Radio3 again, remember to turn the volume down, the first note of Good times, bad times just about took my windows out.

No, I don't. I have Little Earthquakes, Under The Pink, American Doll Posse, the Sunny Florida DVD/cd pack, and two of her "official" bootlegs from the Sinsuality Tour - Chicago and LA.

GH daughter is reputed to be quite the jazz vocalist.
