What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

The missus kicked off this afternoon's listening with the best of Fanta Vier, a German hip hop band.
I was patient. We then had the new E.S.T. disc, live in Hamburg. A very good reminder of the Tuesday Wonderland tour and the couple of times I saw then here and in London.
Now, the most recent Po Girl album - home to you. Folksy, Americana whimsy. Love it.
Coming up will be Bajofondo Tango Club - Mar Dulce

Fantastic Lp. Probably her best. I remember playing this many years ago with LP12/Ekos/Trioka, Tri-amp 250s 32.5 pre and Ps Isobariks. Still not created 'as good a sound' 15 years on. One day maybe.

Take all of the so called pop Diva's and put their talent together and they still don't have talent and charisma of Siouxsie Sioux, and thats a fact

No not yet I'm buying one at a time enjoying that one for a while and then looking for another so I definitely search that one out soon. The only thing is the British issues are super bloody thin and bright sounding so gotta source better pressings in future.
Thanks for tip, though I think i will like all the Banshee's recordings.
