What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Yes!
Gianluigi,
You should check out Jeff Parker "The Relatives" if you like Tortoise. It is more of a jazz album (The Relatives) but has some of the sonic attributes as Tortoise. Parker played with them on later albums and they are both produced by John McIntire for Thrill Jockey Records.

Whitest Boy Alive - Dreams
Ten spiky pop gems from Erland Oye, one half of Kings of Convenience.
At first, I thought this album too pared down to be of any interest, but - as with KoC - there's more to it than meets the eye. There's more thsn enough here to keep any KoC fan happy until they release their third album.

Simon Gray: Galactica Suite 12"
If you can't groove to this tune, you're dead.

Of course, you mean KoC's 4th album, right?
By the way, I'm listening to...

An excellent record that I'd previously overlooked - a big thanks to another forum member for letting me hear how good this album is.
