What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Jeff, may i hijack and ask a question? Whilst my MacBookPro is away being repaired I am using a Windows laptop and i cant find a function like 'copy image address' on windows so that i can copy album art direct from amazon without having to host it. Any ideas please?

I do it by selecting properties and then right clicking to copy and subsequently paste.

Not done this with a pc so I don't really know (if you have the illusion I know what I am doing you are very generous, got lucky, remembered and it is still working on Mac Smile)

As I read further I see Gary S could help you - bravo.

Gary S,

Off topic, but I saw in your profile "woodworking/diy" - are you aware of James "Ergo" speaker designs at pfm (pink fish media) ?

Jeff,
reminded me a bit of the classic gatefold sleeve inside cover of Trilogy by Emerson, Lake and Palmer...

Great record. Very underrated. 2nd record I ever bought (after JMJ's Oxygene, mentioned earlier).

Maybe that is where TA got the idea, the "views" in here pic are the "personalities" on her album American Doll Posse - in the SD live show, the personalities of "Santa" (the blond on the left) and "Isabel" (with the camera) are featured.
