What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Jim

Hope you enjoy it - I think it is another excellent record from another Canadian singer/songwriter.

Good to see you're back (and obviously no family major tragedy being reported from wheme you had been...)

was able to grab some CD's from a local chain that had 19 percent off, on everything, today...

Natalie Dessay - Bellini's Somnambula (currently on)
Trio Mediaeval - Folk Songs (the others being ordered with Caiman) - next in line
The Leaders - Spirits Alike (always meant to buy this)

cheers

Hi Stefan

So you were there as well Smile. I was there with my Son so he could spend his XMAS money on an MP3 player Red Face and I picked up a cheap DVD player since our one is kaputt

Yesterday evening, I listened to the first disc of

and had a brief listen to (before lunch)

Tonight, the kids are out with friends and we will be setting a few fireworks with a couple of friends and welcoming in the new year with some Champagne.

Cheers
Mark

"The Highwayman Collection". A bargain basement release of Willie, Johhny, Kris and Waylon. Great stuff.

Mark,
D'oh - we missed again... I was there between 13:30 and 14:00 (when the worst rush was over, already). I thought you had left for France returning AFTER new year ? Anyway...

Wish you all the best for tonite and the start of 2008 ! We'll spend the evening quietly - by decision. Some music may play a part in it, too (have the big Boesendorfer VC-7 and the Analysis Audio Omega here for home audition, and it's going well...)

cheers
Stefan
