What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

I have to say all these years that Mr. Rundren wasn't my cup of tea. I saw him in concert serveral months ago in a small venue right here in Mobile, Alabama. I did a little research on his accomplishments in music and now I say TODD is the man.

No, but I hope to get one soon. They currently fetch about £125.00 ($250.00) on ebay.

Larry,

Todd is a Songwriter; Singer; Musician; Engineer & Producer. This is quite something to put on your CV (not just anything) Big Grin. Todd has lasted some 5 decades and has not been afraid to change direction and fail (critically) occasionally. In my ears one of my 10 favourite musicians ever.
As fans might say In Todd We Trust.

Have you noticed that Todd's attributes match exactly with for one Steven Wilson. In my ears Steven has taken on the batten from Todd. Exploring the output of Porcupine Tree, No-Man & Blackfield has outshone anything I have heard over the last 4 years.

Bought from the FNAC in Nancy (15 euros)

What better way to start the day than with Bach Inventions and Sinfonias

Spectral mornings - Steve Hackett. Nice album and I saw him at the Bristol Colston hall during his Defector tour many moons ago

Regards
Mark

What a gem this is. Anyone who enjoyed Chris Jones' Roadhouse & Automobiles, would like this I'm sure.

Chris Jones (Guitar), Steve Baker (Harmonica) intimate live performances in stunning sound quality.
