What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Ah, haven't listened to this one in a while. Have to check it out when I get home. I was listening a lot to In My Tribe last month.

Diccus

Both fine choices Big Guy. Unfortunately I only have the Radiohead one on vinyl, Aerial version had to be returned twice due to faulty pressing. Not sure if anybody knows of a reliable source.

Ref; Yasmin Levy at the Sage, email sent, the wife is interested in coming too.

Regards

Nic

Alberto Ginastera's piano music vol 1 played masterfully by Eduardo Delgado.

One of the best piano discs that I know.

Vol 2 did not follow though it was recorded years ago. The pianist was dissatisfied with a segment of the original recording but for some reason no other sessions were arranged.
