What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Whilst cooking dinner...."Music for Grown-ups" with Jon Raitt on BBC Radio Northampton.
Whilst it's rare that I hear something I'm unfamiliar with it does often remind me of neglected classics and there is a fairly diverse range of music if not that eclectic.
What I like most about the show however is that the presenter is one of the few truly natural and engaging ones I have heard since, dare I say it, the death of John Peel.

Excellent. Look forward to it. What's the extra track btw?
Got this on your recommendation and I'm very happy with it, thanks.

Ciao Gary!
Did not decided yet.
I think his best are Shangri-La and Sailing to Philadelphia.
