What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Yes it is MCC at her very best - in other words fantastic. He thinks he'll keep her is a brilliant song on this wonderful album. She's only done one song that I like even better called This Shirt - you can listen to it here,

What a wonderful album!

And low and behold there is Mark Knopfler pre-Emmy Lou Harris.

Can - "Cannibalism" on vinyl

Supposedly not their best compilation if one believes the critics but I'm not a Can expert - I bought it after hearing "Yoo Do Right" on a pirate radio station in London in the 1980's and being blown away by it. If anyone has any recommendations for good Can CDs I'm all ears!

Apparently the Spanish for "woah-o-woah" is "woah-o-woah"
