What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Alan,

One of the most exciting live bands I ever saw, back in the day, around the time that Runaway Boys was released as their first single.

Regards

Just enjoyed a brief vinyl session comprising:

Steely Dan - Aja (30th Anniversary 180g from Cisco Music Inc)

Jaqueline Du Pre - Elgar & Delius Cello Concertos - Barbirolli & Sargent at the helms (ASD 2764)

Most enjoyable. Sorry for not making the time to scan the net for images - King Morpheus awaits!!

Steve S1

It contains B-sides and rarities so if your a Killers fan then Yes! I think it's on offer at the moment as I got it in HMV for about £6. The only track I'm not keen on is the first which features Lou Reed.
