What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Is the Aja on mfsl Alan?

Right Wing,

It's on cisco - what's so special about the mfsl release, is it good ?

Alan

The reissue on the Cisco is better than the original MOFI or ABC versions.

Andy Fairweather Low, 'Sweet Soulful Music', great recording, life afirming lyrics, a real gem of an album.

Slight diverson (must be my age) I saw Crowded House in B'ham early December and support act was nothing but exceptional - Not heard of them (him) before - Duke Special, Belfast man with huge mop of hair

Pretty unusal mix of rock. blues - piano his voice is quite haunting as are the lyics, can't get the CD out of the car Songs from the deep Forest - would recomend "Freewheel" "No cover up" Brixton Leaves

Nice one. You are happy with your upgrade then?
