What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Good sound and involving music but the songs dont draw me in

hmmm.. maybe too much vin rouge after trying to play the dvd for four attempts.. finally.. Parts are fine but the music is to compressed and spoilt by this production..

Droo,

Anja Lechner has another great disc on ECM "Chants, Hymns & Dances" playing with Vassillis Tsabropoulos (piano) the music of George I. Gurdjieff:

Very much agreed, Drood !

Myself, working my way through a complete Corelli set. Quite enjoyable, I can say...
