What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Nothing special Munch, but perfectly OK. I don't have another to compare it with. I suspect the vinyl original may be better.

Great band nymph.Whats the remaster like.

I've not heard the original so can't compare, this was my very first listern to this album, which was very enjoyable despite the earthy quality of reproduction... it's okay but i can 'imagine' it better, especiallly the drums and bass which sound just a bit undefined and a little too blended in...
The music is great though, one warms even better to this after a few plays : )

Geoff,

Good album.

There is a concert in Darmstadt (20:00) "La fiesta flamenca" with Gerardo Nunez playing in Darmstadt. I have to write inputs to a proposal for Monday so I'm too busy to go Frown

Cheers
Mark

In the car again yesterday, the album certainly is a carnival of delights......................

I'm put together beautifully
Big wet bottle in my fist, big wet rose in my teeth
I'm perfect piece of ass
Like every Californian
So tall I take over the street, with highbeams shining on my back
A wingspan unbelievable
I'm a festival, I'm a parade
