What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

A perfect disc for the married man..
Laughing out loud, Haim. Had to think for a moment, but then...
Also, thx for the hint. Sounds like an excellent combination of music, label and artists.

Agreed - Annie has one of the greatest voices ever to be captured on record - I'm trying to think of a better singer, but no I give up ... I don't think there is one.

Stefan, thanks for understanding me.
I guess that different kinds of marriages call for differnet musics. I can very easily see a man who is married to a perfectly keeled librarian listening strictly to Morton Feldman...
Get the Biber if you still don't have it, as well as Unarum fidium which is played by the same group on ECM too. Both are excellent.
