What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Stefan - what is it? Hard to read exactly and I definitely have not heard it. Can you tell us more and what you like about it?

Andy Sheppard Introductions in the Dark from 1989.
I have not played this little gem in years. Andy Sheppard is a superb saxophonist who has just recorded a new CD on ECM Records with Arild Andersen, Eivind Aarset and John Paricelli. I eagerly await a late 2008 release for this.

A question for you, Stefan: Do you keep it with your books or with your discs..?
Regards,

It is snowing again before sundown, erasing any blamishes of the old foot of snow which fell on Wednasday and is still with us.

Mundial Muzique v2:
Afro-carribean Brazillian dance remixes by various artists from Nuspirit Helsinki, Suba and Louise Vertigo
From the Guidance Recordings. I like many of the artist from this label. They release many LPs, too.
