What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Think I still have the drumstick with a little tag I got from Ian to celebarte the sales of Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick somewhere in the house. However the bottle of Ouzo I got from Demis Roussos is well gone.

Great choice. My fav EBTG track is still "Each and Every One" which if I'm not mistaken was their first single.

Ah MacIntyre, Treadmore and Davitt, now that was a forward line.
As for the Tractor Boys, there were worse times - it was a very cold boxing day in 1963. Here are the classifieds:
Blackpool 1-5 Chelsea, Burnley 6-1 Man Utd, Fulham 10-1 Ipswich, Leicester 2-0 Everton, Liverpool 6-1 Stoke, Nottingham Forest 3-3 Sheff Utd, WBA 4-4 Tottenham, Sheff Wed 3-0 Bolton, Wolves 3-3 Aston Villa, West Ham 2-8 Blackburn.
I thought Fulham were a bit lucky.
And I did not even have the music of Barbara Thompson to cheer me up.
