What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Have you got his new disc Jeff. It's not bad. Personally I love his second album with The Sinners thought that was a great pop/rock album

Hi Ewen,
I am a fan, have Necktie Second, Find A Door, Spacey and Shakin', Skywatching and Under The Waves. Have seen him live 4 or 5 times, have bootlegged him twice.
One incredible night in 1998 when Pete headlined a local musicfest in the Oregon hills with Pete pickin' and singin' - backed by Chris Stills (Stephen's kid) on guitar, Marc Ford (Black Crows) on guitar, Freddie Trujillo on bass and Joe Chisano on drums - they did a mind-blowing version of CSNY "Ohio", under the stars. Unfortunately, nobody taping that night.

Got mine at Audiophile Utopia Chatswood for $50.
Worth a look if you haven't been there, they have a good range of vinyl too, if a bit pricey.

Mac, or PC ?
for Mac, get the amazon dot com cover image on screen, control/click, if you have the option "copy image address" click that. Come here to the thread, click "reply" in the bottom corner, select the Image URL box (second from right) in the menue bar and use "control" and "V" or "control" and "apple key" next to space bar. Hopefully the image address is now in the menu bar, click "ok", type any text, click "post now".
