What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Hi Mr Wing
I enjoy Greg a lot. Can't exactly think of anyone he resembles, save his brother Steve, who also has several cd's and is part of the Weepies. It is pop music, above average songwriting, fairly simple productions nothing groundbreaking but solidly well done in my opinion. This is my favorite of his 3 releases.

Strolling across the street, knocking at Manfred's door, and asking him for a spare copy is really all it takes, here. Very easy

cheers, Drood !

highly recommended recent release.
Stefan,
I am planning to get it since I enjoy very much Alperin & Lechner on their previous disc:

Well Stefan , perhaps on your next 'stroll across the street' you could get me his recent Morton Feldman's 'The Viola in My Life'.
Much obliged,
Haim

Sorry JamieWednesday, I just couldn't wait any longer for the vinyl set

As a remastered set, this sounds MUCH better than the Led Zep Mothership - not forced and overloaded on the levels. Feels like it's been done reasonably sensitively.
