What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

The weather is getting better here.
The clocks change in a few weeks.
Its getting lighter in the mornings and its staying light till gone 6 or so in the evening now.
Regards Stuart.
Stuart,
We are gaining light here too though it just gives us more 'seeing time' to observe all the snow around us.
It is not that bad tonight. Six inches are expected and it started snownig late so rush hour traffic was not a disaster. Tomorrow we are going to have blue skies and very cold temperatures.
Listening now to my favorite Haden:
Regards,
Haim

I have both MOFI vinyl and CD copies of Santana's debut. I only have the MOFI vinyl of Abraxas, the MOFI CD will not be released until March 2008. I have the original releases of both on vinyl I purchased back in the 70's. The MOFI vinyl issues are brilliant!

Not listening long though. It's rare for me to take off an album part way through, but by T3 I'd had enough.
What a load of pretentious noodling!
