What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Makes sense to me .... it is 6:15 am here and still dark outside.
Haim, I got the Haden/Barron disc from the library and the first few tracks are stunningly beautiful and then the disc skips during the remainder of songs. I really must buy my own copy - thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Jeff,
We have a very bright sun with all its reflections on the snow, that is why the Nocturnes felt a bit out of place.
I am glad that you had a chance to taste parts of the Haden/Barron disc. That is also a classic nocturne duo.
Regards,
Haim

Remember having a Blue Nile cd single with a version of 'Easter Parade' with RLJ which was gorgeous.
