What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Trio Mediaeval - Folk Songs

Can't agree with opinions that rate these later recordings lower than the earlier. This is great development..

Sorry Stefan,

The only higher rating I can give to Folk Songs is in noise. That drum is really distracting. I personally much prefer:

You're quite right Nigel, this is a slight change of pace! But I rather like it (though I have to say I'm not quite sure why my brother suggested that it was similar to Leonard Cohen - maybe that will become apparent).

I guess both are poetic and have deep sonorous voices - but the music is certainly different.

Right click on the image you see at the link you posted earlier and ask for its 'properties'. Copy the URL link displayed there then in your reply message click on the little picture icon in the top row and paste that URL link into the pop up box. Cick OK. That's it

Still a dunderhead. This requires a wideawake CK. Tried what you suggested but properties was not an option. Is it cos I is on a Mac?

Shouldn't be any different on a mac. It looks like the reason it didn't work is that for some reason you haven't copied the whole address of the picture. What browser are you using?
