LOST - new Channel 4 drama.....

Posted by: arf005 on 12 August 2005

Morning all,

was busy entertaining on wednesday night so taped 'LOST', but managed to miss the last half of the second episode.....
Watched up to where they were heading off to high ground to use the transceiver, shot the Polar Bear (!!??!!) and then dismantled the gun....

Could anybody be so kind and take the time to let us know what happened at the end please.....

Cheers,
Ali

Everyone looked disastrously sexy, pondering how so many beautiful people all landed up on the same plane.

Seriously as god as my witness I watched it, but it was so forgettable I don't remember what happened either.

Well i missed the start Roll Eyes
When they got to highground they checked radio and only picked up a reoccuring transmission in french that had been there 15 years or so, saying help and everyone dead bla bla, so there were other people stranded on this isle and transmission is coming from somewhere!
Also cute lead girly is actually the prisoner who was handcuffed.
Will be interesting to watch I think, my bro-inlaw has already seen first series and says its quite good and they go into each character in detail per episode.
Dont know when monster will show though Eek

Thanks Sicey - that's more like it.....

By cute lead girl I'll take it you mean the one who helped stich up the doc and split the gun, not the one who did a peticure after the crash.....

Cheers,
Ali

I am completely hooked on this.
The first season aired in the US and it was sure to be a flop, but it has just enough edge (and plenty of sex appeal).
The second season starts in a couple of weeks and I understand the first is already out on DVD, but I bet it is set for our region and won't play on most players in the UK, etc.
I promise not to spoil anything, but there are plenty of web sites (so I'm told) that describe every twist and turn.
One even that has a frame of every several seconds and a complete transcript.
And we all though HiFi was a compulsive hobby...

watched it for the first time last night.

Their 'cuts' and general appearances are hilarious. I thought they'd been in a plane crash? I am willing to suspend my disbelief regarding the fact that they are not all dead (which they almost certainly would be - though this wouldn't make for very intersting tv) but how come they haven't all got broken limbs? I guess their miraculous escapes were all explained in the first episode...

Nope they were not, as far as I can asertain some died and some survived and only one was injured, but is now dead.

The good news is there is a great supply of make up, and thankfully no one sees to have gone into shock.

I watched episode three last night, always willing to give a show three attempts, but this one is for kids and boarding on incredulous.

I can assume from last nights episode the geezer with a bald head is a higher entity or knows about this place, which no doubt (because American programming is dumb) is something to do with the Bemuda Triangle.

Duh, you're right.
I think I'll watch some Benny Hill.

Lost TV for those interested.

Erm, isn't the point that this is entertainment?

Scoring points on faults with a TV programme is all rather sad. Lost is damn good entertainment. Nothing more and nothing less. There are plenty of plot holes but just as many web sites dedicated to ripping even larger holes in what many would acknowledge as classic TV.

Just relax.

Agreed Mike. If it doesn't float your boat then why knock it?

I've just watched all 25 episodes in a week(saddo). Very adictive and bizarre.Always leave plot holes they lead to a second series.
Our "kids" 21 and 23 are really hooked and view some of the Lost webites. There are a lot of people with a really weird outlook on life.
I'm just waiting for episode 1-5 of series 2 to arrive. I suspect I'll be non the wiser though."The more answers you get , the more questions form" I suspect.

I landed up watching it sporadically and I guess I have seen 10 episodes.

Come on, its a bit far fetched innit?

watch it or the mystery black smoke will get ya! Haha.
