Hi Alex
I asked because I saw the show too at the Luxor when we were there.
I bought the album in the shop after an awesome show but have just recently played the album (been hifi-less since then) and realised
"it's a visual thang"
If you have trouble getting the album, PM me

Oh yes, amazingly I reckon the $100+ for the ticket is worth more than the $24-99 for the album.
"You just had to be there........"
And I'll go back the next time we visit LV....

Saw their show in NYC several years ago and it was a hoot (what are these *&c#$g rain macs they're giving us for?) Music was good too, but dunno about sitting down and listening to it without having the show too...

I think the show is great fun. The music is good, too, but it doesn't hold up as well outside that context.
I saw it several times in Chicago as my wife, Sarah Allen, was one of the rotating drummers in the show for a few years. In fact, she played it well into her eighth month of pregnancy (and if you've seen the show, imagine that).
(By the way, in that eighth month, we also recorded my Naim album Dreamhouse, making it (as far as we know) the first jazz album with an eight-months' pregnant drummer in the history of human civilization.)
