Question Regarding NAT 03
Posted by: lp12 on 16 February 2004
Does anyone know if the NAT 03 tuner (now discontinued but available used) has the ability to be controled from a remote?
Does it even have any pre-sets?
I have a Quad FM4 now but fancy being able to at least see whats on a couple of stations from the couch!

The NAT 03 cannot be controlled by remote and does not have any pre-sets.
It does sound rather good though :-)

Computers are supposed to work on 1's and 0's - in other words "Yes" or "No" - why does mine frequently say "Maybe"?......

Drat! thank you for info.
Anyone know if a Rega Tuner will work with a Naim remote, or any other tuners that work with a Naim remote....
Does a Naim remote even have facility to control a tuner?

A Rega Radio isn't a patch on a NAT03. How can convenience rule when you obviously own an LP12

There is a remote control available for the FM4.

Very Funny.
But Seriously, how much do those monkeys cost that some invilids utilize for various button pushing tasks?
Could be a solution to all my remote needs, including the LP12!

What about a Nat 05? It has remote capabilities but I think the remote comes with the Nait5 or pre. But you could probably buy a Naim remote or any universal unit.

there's an alternate form of remote for the FM4 or '03 - a Looo-ong interconnect. Place the tuna by your chair, no need to get up to change the station. Simple!

PS - don't forget to extend and reconnect your antenna feed.

The NAT05 would be the way to go - with remote and also, I believe, pre-sets.
