Freak Emporium Closes...Another one gone

just had my night ruined when I logged on to the freak emporium site to check out any new releases, only to find that it's closed down. it seems they couldn't compete against the likes of Amazon etc and were priced out the market. A real shame as this was one of the last havens to find the truly obscure releases on minor labels and was always a good place to pick up on new gems that would never get a feature on any of the larger sites.
Sigh!

Gah. Gorged myself on their "Pre-Christmas Sale" and wondered about the timing.

It's bad enough that bricks-and-mortar stores are dying off without the likes of this lot going paws-up too.

This is terrible news - Freak Emporium were one of the very best - a very sad day for music IMHO. I wish all the guys at Delirium and Freak Emporium the very best for the future.
