Check Out June 29th & October 25th 25th.
Saw the gig last year with Steve Howe, it was brilliant, & he was realy playing to the crowd.
Cant wait for this years shows, & I have just got tickets for the October gig. The venue is small, and the atmosphere generated here is always fantastic.

Harry,
I've got the Rhino Re-masters of both albums on your recommendation, for which you have my gratitude as they sound superb - 'Fragile' too.
Cheers,
Jon

Curving back up the thread, I’ve never been tempted by remasters of Yessongs because good though the concerts were, and blinding though the album is for the music per se, the sound quality wasn’t the best – to put it politely. I wonder if there’s a remaster out there worth springing for? I did have the HDCD on order (collector/mug syndrome – see music catalogue thread) but that seems to have quietly gone off the books.
Just wondering.

Not any more I'm afraid, Harry.
I chopped them in for a pair of Neat Motive 2s a couple of months ago. I was allowed to borrow the Neats for a home dem, and once I heard them, I couldn't go back!
The S5e's are still excellent speakers though - I trust you are enjoying yours as much as ever?
Cheers,
Jon

Anyone know the current status of the band? Their website www.nfte.org was very active until the end of last year, and has been moribund since then.

Update posted yesterday and with a challenge:
"The 2006 Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees have just been announced. Yes are absent once again! I fail to see how the Sex Pistols can be inducted ahead of Yes, who are still going strong after 35 years. Indeed, I don't see that any progressive rock group has been inducted, an obvious snub of the genre by the Hall Of Fame voters. Let all Yes fans worldwide unite by visiting the Hall of Fame website and emailing the Director to get this oversight fixed in 2007. The recognition of Yes' contributions to rock and roll are well overdue!"

In my book yes, Richie Hayward, Kenny Gradney and Sam Clayton - saw them in the late 80's at Hammersmith touring Let it Roll. They were awesome.
