Any bands similar to rammstein?

Posted by: ChrisD on 20 October 2003

Hi everyone,

About a year ago i discovered rammstein and think they are an amazing band. Over the last year i have been looking for similar bands that i might like - but i havent found any at all!! Anyone know of any bands with a similar style to rammstein, surely they cant have that unique a style!

Thanks

Chris,

Try:
Fear factory
Nine inch nails
Prong
Front 242

But they all lack the Wagnerian feel of Rammstein.

Regards,
Rob.

All good calls, what about Ministry? early Rammstein has many a Ministry riff attached to it!

Ha! Coincidentally I was going to include Ministry's Stigmata in my "6 all time favourite tracks" list just to see whether anybody was actually paying any attention...

Oh Alex, so close! Frown

Only your politeness prevents from winning a signed copy of "Rubber Glove Seduction" by Programming The Psychodrill, a bona-fide IDM classic!

Of course, the real answer was

Kill
Mother
Fucking
Depeche
Mode

Maybe slightly off the thread here - but for those of us without any Rammstein in the collection where's a good starting point?

Heard a few tracks off "Mutter" which impressed - is this their best CD?
