Who should we vote out of the Naim house?

Posted by: hungryhalibut on 27 June 2005

Perhaps it is time we voted for the person we'd most like to be voted off the Forum. Any nominations Winker Apart from me of course...

Nominations could be merited by negative postings, boring posts, poor use of grammar and/or spelling..................

Absolutely not.

I want to hear a review of the Nordost Thor with Valhalla cables first.

Next thing you know, some punk will start a hifi thread in the Padded Cell and before you know it there'll be open revolt.

Shall we start a "Ban the Bear" campaign then? Big Grin

Nice one Nigel ;-)

JonR - I was perhaps thinking it should be "Your time is gonna come", from Mr. Plant et al. Of course, we could tie Cooke and Plant together, somewhat crudely, with "Bring It On Home" (To Me) ... with not a mention of Mr. Zimmerman.

Maybe this should become a vote for the worst pun judging by postings here to date.

I'll start the ball rolling. Picture it. A certain gentleman in Portugal goes into a hifi store, engages the salesman in a series of demo's lasting 8 hours and as the guy's patience approaches snapping point finally declares:

I'll have NUNO of those!!

How about this one. An gentleman who is most anti-Nuno-esque, walks into a hifi shop, and sees a shiny new CD555/NAP700. After 5000 forum posts he declares his current system completely unBEARable, and says I'll take em all.

Ban anyone who:

Passive biamps
Has Shahinians
Doesn't use NACA5
Can't hear the influence of a Fraim
Doesn't 'get' pace, rhythm and timing
Feels the need to post even after they've sold all their Naim...

The list could go on forever... Big Grin

Oh, and GEE90 - he's obviously taking the mickey...

And all lawyers while you're at it...

Noooooooooooo!

You don’t ban the lawyers. That only encourages their natural adversarial instincts and then you’ll never get rid of them. Believe me, I know.

Shakespeare had it right: “First thing we do … let’s kill all the lawyers.”
