So, what do we think then?
Still not 100% on Matt Smith after the excellent last two although I've grown into him.
However, I think the series itself has been excellent. Absolutely first class storytelling.

Loved the first couple then had some minor doubts but since I accepted they've gone for an overall lighter approach I'm loving it. I've just watched Vincent and the Doctor, and The Lodger, and thought they were first class pieces of science fiction/fantasy. I loved the football scenes and wouldn't mind at all if James Corden were to appear again.

Been a little variable, but getting used to it. I have to because my grandson always demands "tarans", daleks etc when they come.
So, who do we think River Song is? I'm going for the Doctor's daughter now grown up ...

I believe she is his wife at some point in the future.

That's what they imply, but they've never said it.

After I'd posted I realised I couldn't remember where I'd heard that but I work with a couple of serious Who fans who talk about it as if it's fact. It's still all speculation I suppose.

Sounds like my son-in-law, Andy Priestner.

Seeing that she's pregnant I'd say that was a given!
