They are offering a lot of music through TV commercials lately and I was wondering if anyone has bought anything through them. In particular, I was wondering if the quality was good or not. Just a simple query, anyone with direct experience please let us know what you think.
BTW, have you noticed the increased number of CDs now available on the TV lately? Are people not buying in stores or on the internet these days?

My wife's Grandmother likes buying the Time CDs, so I've had the opportunity to hear them. All the ones I've heard sound pretty poor (hashy, noisy, bad levels, etc.).

I'm less enthusiastic these days about Christmas than I used to be. Why? Because my wife, in a (thankfully) uncharacteristic burst of appallingly bad taste, insists on playing her "Time-Life Treasury of Christmas" CD through the season. Apart from the kitchy material, the technical quality of the recording is exactly what you'd expect for mass market material. Do your homework and find the original recordings. Just because I have to live through this stuff doesn't mean you have to.
Cheers,
John Schmidt
