Hope they play Glasgow otherwise another missed opportunity comes along.
Posted on: 15 March 2007 by J.N.
I think it was the Birmingham NIA I saw SD at some years ago.
It was bloody huge - I could see bugger all, and it had the acoustics of a very large metal cow shed.
John.

Thanks DenisA. Trying for Hammersmith tickets as we speak. Strange to do NIA and then Hammersmith - the latter is so much smaller.

Sigh....
No chance for me this time around as it looks.
Well... perhaps I can go down to Hamburg..
Anyway, best wishes for great concerts to attend.
Thanks for the tip Denis

Glad to to help fellow Dan Fans. My Apollo tickets are in Row N. Perhaps a Hammersmith Pre gig drink could be arranged if anyone is interested.
Hey Gunnar,
I'd keep your eyes peeled on the SD home page for more dates. The Tour could roll into August, you never know.

...The SD saddoes (like me) who have religiously followed the fortunes of Don and Walter via dandom.com for many years now ..will know getting together with other fans pre + after gigs is officially known as having a "Dan Fest"
So why not have a London version? (stop sniggering Diccus!)
..Cracking 10 piece lineup for this tour ...inc one of the world's best (if not THE best) Drummers - Keith Carlock.
...Rumours abound that they will play "some suprises" mebbe's even stuff from Morph The Cat?
NB Donald's 3 disc solo box set out on RHINO any day now as well! let's hope some unreleased stuff is found within!

The boxset current release date is 22nd May in the US. No one is quite sure what it is going to contain. There maybe the possibility of the first 2 discs being remasters of his first two solos. But hell we will know nearer the time.
Have to go now as I have to get a flight to London- unfortunately just a few months earlier than the SD gig, diccus.

Don't worry if you change your mind, i'll let you have Jet Johnson's ticket.................. he won't mind, he'll be sat in the foyer talking drivel with the Muso 'Dansettes' at their Dan Fest

Jet if you remember at Glasgow we couldn't find the Dan Fest, someone had already scoffed it

Row V. You should be in range of a well-aimed piece of popcorn. With my history of finding people in pubs prior to gigs, I'll just wander over to row N and ask for any PT fans to stand up.
BTW did you try that Ship Of Fools album out?

Gary,
I think Diccus might be the the events organiser for the gig, so await instructions...
Sorry, havn't got round to Ship Of Fools yet. Just ordered Prefab Sprout Steve Mcqueen though.

Denis. Trust me on this - I've never let you down before. Buy it cheap on Amazon, and if you don't like it I'll buy it off you at the Dan gig.

So sorry missed your post...
I´ve not been around for a while.
Stockholm in July, I´m away to Denmark. My other home. Half Swedish and half Danish. BUT!
I´ll catch them on the Falconer theatret with my wife and kids.
That will be so nice, strolling down the streets of Copenhagen, heading towards the show... nice.
best
Gunnar

I think we might be able to find a Pub from here. Nearer the time, comments from punters should update us with a Hip Dad Rock Pub (for Me
) within a 15min walk.
