Mountain bike

I am buying a bike. I can't keep up running after the children on their bikes so I must take the plunge.

I have been offered a GT Timberline - is this sensible for a novice?

GT make fine mountain bikes a timberline is a good choice for family outings/trail riding etc depending on the price and condition.

My GT is 10 years old and I have smashed every attachable part off it over the years. The frame has got more dings in than a well raced stock car,but is still in one peice and safe to ride.

I didn't know that custard being a non-newtonian substance allows one to walk on it, just like Christ and his water, innit Big Grin
