I have buy a FC2 but i have some questionS
.
The power switch bottom ON/OFF of FC2 control also the NAIT but NOT the CD5. Is it normal ? (notice Naim :"Switch on the Power Supply from its power button. After a short while the CD5 will function as normal").
The CD input of Nait 5 must come from FC2 (out D)or CD 5 ?
I understand that i must choice CD5 or Stageline because with FC2 I couldn't connect it to NAIT. It's right ?
But about Rega Ear ?

Hello Moude,
You have asked a few questions, and I will try to answer some of them.
Firstly As you are aware the FC2 can directly power any 2 of NAIT5, CD5 and Stageline. However for the CD5 the FC2 only powers the analogue sections of the player. The digital sections are always powered from the internal supply. Hence when the FC2 is switched off the display may stay light giving the impression that the CD5 is working, but there will be no signal to the pre-amp and hence no sound. Switching the FC2 on therefore will allow the CD5 to function as normal.
Secondly, The CD input of the NAIT5 comes directly from the CD5, not the FC2. Use the SNAIC supplied with the CD5.
Thirdly, although I do not have a NAIT5, the manuals, which can be downloaded from the "Products" section of the main NAIM site show that it can be powered from an FC2.
As the Stageline can be directly powered from the NAIT5 using the dedicated socket, you may be able to power the CD5 from the secondary FC2 supply, the NAIT5 from the primary and the Stageline directly from the NAIT5.
I'm afraid that I know nothing about the Rega.

I thought that connect Nait 5 with FC2 switch OFF internal power of Nait 5 (so I thought that I couldn't connect Nait 5 with FC2 and Nait 5 and Stageline in the same time.).
I read all the manuels but it's always about connection between 2 never with 3 or 4.
My configuration was right Nait5 / CD5 / Stageline/Headphone (Rega ear) until i bought FC2 whitch use my output plug. (output was for headphone...).
